schengen visa can Indian nationals from uk travel if on student visa for tourism only ?

As an Indian national who is in uk on student visa valid for 3 years travel to Europe using schengen visa or is this not possible for Indian nationals of India

They could apply for a schengen visa to enable them to travel............. however not happening at the moment with covid and travel restrictions

Indians can get a Schengen visa for up to 90 days of stay, which is valid for 6 months.  After the first visit, you may be able to get a multiple entry visa if you were compliant.
