The racists & klansmen resided largely in the democrat party up until 1964, when they were unable to block LBJ from passing the Civil Rights act, so they bailed & joined the republican party.  That's generally where they've been ever since, with only one or two one-off holdouts.
So yes, the GOP is currently, and has been since the mid 1960s, the party of the racists and the KKK.

That's because they've been telling that lie since the change started. When you're repeating a lie long enough more and more people believe the lie.

It's like them always thinking the MSM is all left wing except for Fox News. That lie started back in the 1970s after Watergate. Back then there was only 3 main American networks and some wire services, Like AP(Associated Press)! Of course during Watergate they were all covering the hearings live!

So after Watergate Republicans started the myth all the press was biased against them! Been telling that lie ever since!

Prove it.  Even your best liberal sources say that only twelve racist Democrats join the Republican party in the 60's.  NOT 120 million.  And if you think that 12=120 million than you have an IQ lower than that of a single-celled organism.
