Do you view the midwest as Flyover country?

Not to deny the importance of the midwest to the nation's economy, and not to minimize the affection its residents have for it, aside from Chicago, what's there for me to see?

America was built on agriculture, industry, banking and technology....

The industries that defined our greatness for the first 180 years became The Rust Belt.... Our banking system has crashed multiple times.... even the tech boom became a "bubble" and we are now second-fiddle to Asia....

But through it all, America has been the Food Bank to the World.... part of the reason you didn't have to go to War like your grandfather or great grandfather was because we were keeping whole nations fed without you even knowing it...

You're welcome.....

It means one thing to me, referring to the middle of the country. To a Democrat elitist, it means Red states that don't matter to them unless they can use them to cheat on elections.

Only the red states. Places like MI, IL, WI, and MI are worth checking out.

Yes! Those woods are infested with radical right-wing racists.
