I ask because... I see a lot of American politics on here, but no one ever talks about Canadian politics or that one guy from Britain that sorta looks like Donald Trump?

Ever since social sites have become global, we are now expected to follow their rules instead of US rules whether they are English speaking countries or not.

Seems to be. However I think Americans took over because some of us are extremely passionate about politics. So we're also extremely vocal about politics because of our expressing free speech!
