What type of business applications can I use an iPod toward?
My office says they they are willing to spend up to $1000 on each employee at the end of the year for technology. I am thinking a video iPod would be awesome but I have to convince them of the useful business solutions it can be applied toward.
What about slideshows? Videos? Etc? Are there applications out there to run on an iPod?

Easy. The iPod 30GB brings you considerable portable storage capacity. You can save time and money by shuffling your large files (documents, presentations, whatnot) on the iPod instead of sending them my email to yourself (which in itself wastes company money because of network traffic costs and storage costs for the large emails).

Video iPods can play and store videos. Depending on what it is you do, it may come in handy.
