black holes?

if black holes can absorb matter and light, is there an exit where all the absorbed matter and light are emitted?

    The way a black hole works is that it compresses a lot of mass into a single point, giving it an infinite density. What makes a black hole is the concentration of mass and gravity into such a small volume. This means that as more matter gets sucked in all the matter gets compressed into a single point.

    What exactly happens at this point, we don't know, and we think that the laws of physics as we know them break down to some degree.
