Anyone know of software to convert an old PC-Write file?

The output should be Word or RTF or something that current word processors understand.

    You may want to try 4Tex. It can convert PC-Write files into LaTeX, then LaTeX into ASCII. It's not a one-step conversion, but should do the job.

    I have been importing into a text reading program. The result is the text message with the PC-Write formatting. I then delete the formatting and can import the text into a word processor or leave it as is.

    Works OK for smaller files. Carefully crafted search and replace would speed up the process.

    I dont think that changing the extension will do.Anyway you can give it a shot.

    change the extension : .xxx to .rtf or .doc .try it
