How do you use chopsticks the correct way?

They should be wedged between your thumb and and your middle finger, with the index finger on top to control them.

Also, don't forget in Asia it is considered bad luck to leave a pair of chopsticks stuck in a bowl of rice (it reminds them of incense at a funeral).

I agree with edawg. I'd just like to add the caution that your hand will hurt the first several times, and practice.
