I want to send my parents to Hawaii for their anniversary. Which island should they go to?

Oahu. When do you plan on sending them? One of my two 1BR condominiums on Waikiki Beach may be available for them. Golf courses dot the island beginning with Pearl City Country Club just 15 minutes away. Mom can walk to the pool and Waikiki Beach from outside the lanai. Hilton Hawaiian Village is next door, Ala Moana Shopping Center is two blocks away, Hillo Hattie's, Swap Meets, International Marketplace, Dole Pineapple Plantation, Byodo Temple, Bishop Museum, Polynesian Cultural Center, USS Arizona Memorial, USS Missouri, lots more.

As for restaurants, there are the obvious 5 star cuisines but if you want to sample local food, e-mail me and I'll give my recommendations for the less expensive menus.

Oh, and before I forget, what a better way to celebrate an anniversary: call Chai's Island Bistro, reserve for a Wednesday night, 6:30 PM dinner/show, and enjoy the harmony of the Cazimero Brothers. I was just in Maui at the Ritz Carlton. There is a big golf tournament there now. Maui is supposed to have some of the best golf courses in the world! It is absolutely beautiful. It's a little expensive, but if you can afford it, I can highly recommend the island. The "Road to Hana" was very fun (albeit bumpy) and I went on a Pineapple plantation tour that was really great. We got to pick our own Maui Gold pineapples and I brought several home on the plane for friends - the most delicious, sweet pineapples imaginable. There are several direct flights and then you always have the option of visiting other islands in addition to Maui. The west side of the island has most of the resorts and golf courses while the east side is pretty much undeveloped and beautifully serene. There are also many good restaurants in the area.

well i live on oahu it is nice it has beaches nice hotels also pearl harbor which is very nice. but it is more for kids. the big island has an active volcanoe which is nice but that is all the island has.www.hawaii.com i wish i could think of the other one but maybe that page will help you decide every island has something for every one but yes maui is the best for sight seeing

Ive been 2 oahu it's really pretty, luv it! but i think it's more 4 a younger crowd, I suggest Maui which I heard it's a lot mor scenic very green and beautiful, either way u CANT loose! it's HAWAII!!
