Why are people so stupid?

I do not think so that this world which is full of cheaters and hipocrates have stupids.... some people POSE .... when asked for any favor.... otherwise.... I am not agree with you....

In the animal kingdom, natural selection continues. However, humans, who dominate the world, have created laws to keep all of us alive and keep us from killing each other. Look at the bright side, if you are smart, you can start a business and get rich off of all the "stupid" people who work the manual labor for you. We have turning survival of the fittest into a financial survival in modern society.

Natural selection has nothing to do with it. We do not have natural anything in our lives anymore. Most people are good at somethings and bad at others. And some people think it is cute to act dumb. For a select few it is no act. Tolerance and acceptance are virtues we should all strive for.

No. Natural selection has to do with species. So then, if their are apparent "stupid people" all of the humans & users of Y! answers would be extinct.

I take it that you are implying that you dislike hearing people speak against the idea of creation given that you mention of natural selection

I feel that way too even though it isn't very nice to say it. Some people don't realize that they act stupid and say stupid things. Just remember there is no cure for being stupid.

well first u have to know wether if our personalities are created by nature or nurture. that is, are these stupid people stupid because their dna makes them that way or is it because of how they were brought up. if it is nurture natural selection doesnt work. if its nature, then youre right, they shouldnt be alive

Well, the "dumb" ones survive because the "intelligent" ones died banging their heads on the wall in response to the stupidity.

I have no idea why there are so many idiots out there. I find that every day myself (and a lot of them are on Yahoo Answers!)
