What is the correct wording of the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution?

The 2nd Amendment as; “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” is not the ratified version. What is the proposed and ratified version?

Amendment II - Right to bear arms. Ratified 12/15/1791. Note

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

    U.S. Constitution, Amendment II

(also known as the Second Amendment)

A well-regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

    One Comma or Three?

The Final (ratified) version had only one comma according to the Library of Congress and Government Printing Office.

In a time when there wasn't a regulated army, and worse a time where there weren't even street lights and the majority of the population lived in the rural areas, areas covered with predators and animals all out to kill you such an amendment is important.

The creators of the Constitution had just fought a war and needed to have a regulated army as there was no army, everything was either controlled by the British or the French. To protect the people and the Constitution a regulated (or even well regulated) militia was needed, that would be an army.

A man in a Ford F150 is not an army, and definitely not well regulated.

Gun control exists in Europe, France has the highest number of guns in circulation with 19,000,000 guns in 2009 the USA had 270,000,000 guns or 88% of the population. The worst statistic is simply France had 2,000 gun deaths and the US 17,000 in 2009.

It is not the Constitution that gives the right to kill one another, but to allow a Country/State to create a well regulated army.

The very first said: "In the event a well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." And if you read the weighting under the "We The People" it tells you: "provided for our common defense" also "secure the Blessing on to ourselves". All three of them are talking about the individual right. We The People masters of the government was never to be out armed by the Federal, State, Local are eclectic parts of our government. What ever weapons they have "We The People" are to have better then to to secure our individual rights to ourselves, The Federal, State,Local an elected were never to infringe on our right in any manner what so ever. No part of We The People government has the right to infringe on any ones rights The Elected along with the Courts was too excuse themselves from making any kind of judgement are laws on the 2nd Amendment because they have the vast interest in disarming "We The People". Them having the vast interest they will rule in their fair every time. There for all law rules regulations that have been made to date was done under illegal, unconstitutional treasonous act's. Them just bringing it to the floor to enact any is illegal and treason in itself.

The word "shall" gives this sentence, the 2nd Amendment, five separate meanings or definitions for lawyers to play with. Substitute: must, should, will, may, and or is for the word shall and you see this sentence take on different degrees of meaning. This is the game of legalese played by the judicial system to make money and keep it confused.

It is actually......"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." History is being rewritten by using a capital S in place of the lower case s in the word state. The meaning of the part that says "necessary to the security of a free state", is not referring to the State as in States or the Federal government, but as the state of being free. So don't be fooled when told they are talking about militias and States. We have the right to bear arms to maintain the state of being free, not so the State can have militias.

I obtained the following wording from the website for the National Archives:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

You can also download high resolution images of the Bill of Rights, but it is very difficult to read.
