You can take the classes you need for your licens online or at a Jr. college. I went through allied schoos online and it was a great program. Allied is licensed by the State of California to offer the real estate appraisal school program.

I just became an appraiser in Michigan. It is working out very well. I find most of my information on the State of Michigan website, so I checked out the State of California website. Here is a link to show you places to take classes. Just search a city in provider search. Here is the link... http://www.orea.ca.gov/html/PCSearch.shtml You will also be able to see how many classes you need to start. Hope this helps.

examine your assets appraisal date - maximum tax value determinations are carried out as quickly as each 3 years and the upward thrust is phased in over those 3 years. as a effect, mutually as industry cost may be lowering, in the experience that your place replaced into appraised for tax applications for the time of an upswing, the section in makes it look as though teh appraisal remains going up. additionally, examine with your tax appraisal place of work. in many cases, if abode values have declined plenty, you're in a position to request a re-appraisal. i'm uncertain how oit is on your neck of the woods, yet in Maryland, maximum tax value determinations tend to come again in under the actual assets cost (on the time the appraisal is complete), so a re-appraisal would not consistently help.
