But generally, for women, the ideal is 15-25 percent and for dudes, it is 10-20 percent. You are overweight if your body fat percentage is 25.1-29.9 percent if you are a whoaman, and 20.1-24.9 percent if you are a guy. You are obese if your body fat is over 30 percent if you're a woman and over 25 percent if you are a guy.

The norms depend a great deal on your age. The american college of sports medicine states these percetages for females
age / average
20-29 / 22.1 average
30-39 / 23.1 average
40-49 / 26.4 average
50-59 / 30.1 average
60+ / 30.9 average

i'd say no more than 20% for a woman
