Do they have children together?If so no.He will allways be a father and need to be in contact with her about the children.If no children are involved and they just talk to have something to laugh and giggle about,yes tell him it bothers you.
Sorry I thought you said ex wife not family.
How long were they maarried?I am divorced,was married for 12 years,and my ex stays in touch with my family,it's ok with me and her new husband.If they were married along time they probably feel he is a part of their family.Bonds grow with family during a marriage,and just because him and his spouse didnt get along,dont mean her family dislikes him
