How do you adjust the idle on Ford Focus 2000?
I have had the spark plugs and wires and fuel filter replaced. I did all this because it was hesitating when I accreted on the Highway it running a lot better. But the other day it hesitated again and it died back up. This was the middle of the day it be running all day with no problem. So I was think the idle my need to be adjusted.

You can't adjust the idle on most newer cars. If you're mechanically inclined or have friends who are, I'd suggest checking fuel pressure. Your fuel pump might be weak, or the regulator might not work.

the idle is controlled by the pcm via idle air control solenoid- non adjustable. do you have check engine light on? any codes? Go to autozone- they'll help you for free.
