Is Romania Dracula's Home Country? Or not?

Some says it is, some says it is not. What's your oppinion on this issue? Do yu have some arguments pro or against?

    Romania (eastern europe)is the country of Dracula, that's for sure. The real name of dracula was Vlad Tepes, not Tetes . So be sure you will visit Transylvania soon...

    dracula the novel was based on the real king vlad the impaler/ a cruel dictator who murdered his own people as well as visitors for no reason at all most of the time---you have very interesting belief systems (very alined with ancient superstitions that still permeate today) however the economy in your area of the world has never been very stable,
