It's been reported that it has a lot of troubles. Some x360 systems crushed. Some fatal errors found in others. A lot of people are planning to resell it. Probably that's why Microsoft removed their systems from the market & stopped selling it.
BE CAREFUL! Don't buy it until it sells several millions.

Power supply my overheat if plugged into a cheap surge protector. Keep it elevated and it's fine.
The emulation for old xbox games has some minor glitches but not many as well as the fact an online downloadable update most likely will fix it in the near future.
Don't listen to the people saying it blows up..that's a load of garbage.
It has the same failure rate as many other electronical devices.

too many, Im still waiting for updated model which should arrive around Christmas. Long time a know but Id rather be safer than sorry. Same is going to happen when the ps3 launches. All launch hardware has lots of bugs. Its always good to wait a bit, prices also go down.

there are quite a few, people should wait till later shipments were they fixed all the problems, like the original ones overheated, froze, and melted!! now microsoft is fixing the heat problems because some guy sued them for a whole hell of alot of money, the freezing part they dont know why it does that but the main suspect HEAT!!! later reports will tell you why
