Has anyone seen the Sony Bravia Commercial? - Bouncing Balls?

In the commercial it depicts millions of rubber balls bouncing their way through the streets of San Francisco. Does anybody if this is real? Did they actual dump all these balls? What's the story behind the video? It's awesome and has turned a lot of heads. It looks so real! I also saw it as resFest for short films. Amazing! Check it out:

    yeah it's real my uncle was there when they did it and he got to keep a whole bunch of those rubber balls

    I doubt that it is "real" - too much risk and liability for property damage... it could also go into sewers - SF wouldn't like that!
