Yes it does. I am actually a teacher at highschool in AZ, and sometimes it even blocks me off of my teaching sites!! But i know in the long run, if we didn't have it, alot of inappropriate FOR SCHOOL, things would be going on.

It relies upon on if there are any sanctions. a computer will be set up that way, yet when no human being cares what takes position after the very truth, then i do no longer see why some youthful ones does no longer attempt it. even if there have been sanctions, some youthful ones would see it as a mission. a number of them would get stuck. it truly is really basic to look over the shoulder of someone utilising a computer. Tempting human beings into violating guidelines, and then catching them is a waste of time and in no way a valid mission for a school.

Besides normal filtering, we have a program called "Websense" that blocks you from going to any site related to games, gambling, porn, guns, etc. It works very well. Almost too well... but I have found no easy way to circumvent it, besides controlling your home computer remotely, but that's a risk.
