How come it's hard for a guy to be straight forward with there feelings??

Welllll... since I recently took a psychology class I can tell you that it's partly because a guy's brain is wired differently than a girl's. That is no excuse though! I think also some of it is society. Society has made it difficult for men to express feelings and still remain "macho or masculine". Sad, but true. And... this is what I truly feel is the real answer... Men will dance around a subject, hide things and lie like a rug if it's about something that can get them into any kind of trouble with their girlfriend/wife. Men are dogs... and they must be trained. ;)

I've been jumped about this topic all my life. How can I explain my feelings when I don't have any. "How do you feel about Valentines Day?" Well, I don't feel anything. It's a fun day and I get fun things for my special friends, but, I don't "feel" anything so it's hard to express those feeling I don't have. "How do you feel about walking in the rain with your sweety?" Hmmm, I don't know how I feel. I haven't given it much thought I guess. It's the same about all of those questions. I just don't feel I guess and verbally saying how I feel is just too difficult. There, straight from a guy, an honest answer.

For fear of not getting the result they want.

E.g- if a guy tells his gf he loves her and she doesnt say it back.

Normally if a guy feels strongly enough about those feelings he will be straight forward with them regardless of what could happen.

cuz their guys and they dont wanna seem like wimps if they just come out and say oh baby i love u or something...thats just not guys, well gay guys yes but u get the point

Girls: Both halves of brain used for language and emotion

Boys: One half language, one half emotion

Guys aren't as emotional as girls. We feel the same way, we just don't show it.
