North Carolina set up a new law that all must be licensed as broker. Is it true and difficult to study?

Requirements...
1) Complete required training at one of the North Carolina real estate schools or otherwise satisfy pre-license requirements.
2) File application form and fee with the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.
3) Commission determines eligibility for licensing examination.
4) The examination can be taken by computer. The Commission sends a notice of examination eligibility and the applications contacts a testing service to pay the examination fees and schedule examination.
5) If the applicant wants to take the examination with paper and pencil, the Commission schedules the applicant for an examination.
All licenses expire on June 30 of each year.

I don't know about NC but TN has had that law for yoars. I took the course & it was a breeze. The state test was also a breeze.
