What are the symptome of the flu? I have a 101.5 temp, muscle weakness.?
I also have a really bad headache, and upset stomache. Please, only people who REALLY know the medical profession.

The flu, influenza, is really severe. It is really mistaken by many with the word flu. You certainly could be starting it. The fever usually gets higher. The aches and pain from fever last usually 7 to 10 days. That is where many are mistaken by the word flu. Because true flu last at least seven to ten days or longer. And these patients are usually run down for a while even afterward. I am sure you have had this before.

The flu is usually accompanied by high grade fever in the range of 102-104, and body aches, muscle weakness, runny nose, cough, sore throat, etc..
The most clear point about flu, which differentiates it from the common cold, is that it hits suddenly, and is very severe in symptoms, that could come along with a couple of hours.
If you have any health problems that could make things worse, you better check with a doctor soon.

I've had the flu this year and had the temp, muscle aches and headache. Fortunately after a couple days rest it went away. Hope you feel better soon.
