I've got a presario 2500 and it won't boot? all I get is a black screen, i think its the vid card but not sure
Any ideas,powers up just nothing no messages no loading bars ,nothing,just DaRkNeSS..

If all you get is a black screen then how do you know that your PC doesn't boot? It may be booting. Check cable connections including power. Is monitor turned on? If all checks out then check computers setup using appropiate F Key (varies depending on brand and model, see manual). If still black then try another monitor. If problem persists then the problem may be your card but most new PCs have the video card integrated on Motherboard and if that is your case, then more than likely, depending on age of PC, it is better getting a new PC then fixing it.
