there are a lot of american music artists in britain but are there any british ones in america?

    hmmmm...I loved Blur back in the 90's. Damon's Albarn work with Gorillaz right now is pretty cool....I loved Pulp too.

    Let's see most famously: Sir Paul McCartney.

    Some popular ones right now are Joss Stone and James Blunt.

    mm...it depends. there are subcultures into music like the stone roses and other 90's bands. most of it just isn't mainstream.
