Can you refreeze butter after a partial thaw?

    Yes, i always do that, as long as the butter is not being melted by the microwave.

    I never had any issues with refreezing butter, go ahead. If you are concerned the next time just check it before using it.

    Don't think you're supposed to but as Angelsin said I have also and never had adverse effects. I think it may depend on how long it's been thawed and weather conditions, but that's just my thinking.
