Yep, you have narrowed the problem of the world down to one question..where are the parents? I would like to know this as well. Part two of that question could be, "What happened to responsability?"

Obviously not teaching their kids about sex. They are probably not monitoring their kids on the internet either. Then, when their kid does something wrong, they blame everyone else. So, they are probably out getting a parents against the internet rally together.

The reproductive interests of parents and offspring are not the same, so, it is perfectly natural for children to be slightly suspicous of information from their parents. And kids like to know what their peers think. Many of these questions are social questions appropriate to a peer group.

Who knows? Maybe their parents don't care where they are so long as they don't have to be bothered with them. Or maybe they think the kids are behaving because they are not out in the streets involved in criminal activity. Or they may be ignorant of how much their kids really know (or don't know)about sex.

The parents are very supportive for the kids. It's just that the kids are to embaressed to ask their parents.

I've noticed that the kids don't ask, that is what needs to happen, the kids need to ask their parents if they want to know so bad!!!

Probably not caring, don't know, think thier kid is responsible, are out doing something. I don't know. I don't think the parents even know these kids do that.

Who knows, I really don't care, they're not my kids. I just answer their questions to the best of my knowledge and figure they slept through their Sex Ed class...

Likely in church, praying that their kids simply abstain....

I call it the "doing the ostrich", since it's damn near impossible to address something when ones head is in the sand.

Its either their scared of their parents or their parents is closeminded and so they talk it more with their friends and today, it's like common..
