Warranty Problem with Mitsubishi Montero Sport 2002 LS?

Need Advice I have all my Major service all done by a Dealership 20K 33k & 54K with paid receipts and Normal Oil changes every 5-7k with no receipts... The Montero sport has a 60 thousand mile Powertrain Warranty which the dealer claims because of Oil Sluge that it's my fault and will not fix it... I also owe 16k on it and worth max 8k in if working and now faced with 5k of additional cost... I try to reach Mitsubishi but every number on they web site take you to the Finance company... This is just Bad! any advice?

I used to run a Mitsubishi service department. As far as the factory is concerned, if the oil changes aren't on paper, they didn't happen. Where is the 30K service records? Where is the receipt for the 60K service w/timing belt? You only did the MINOR services, NOT the MAJOR ones! Serves you right that you need an engine! Maybe you'll know better next time! Most dealership oil changes are around $25, which is less than an oil change at Jiffy Lube where they use the wrong oil filter & and non-factory trained mechanics. Dealerships also have the opportunity to spot problems BEFORE they become major problems. A thorough inspection is done at every MAJOR service, which you have neglected. You pay for what you get. Be sure to enjoy the $16,000 flower planter for your yard while basking in the money you saved on oil changes. How much did you truly save? Not enough, OBVIOUSLY! The fault is yours, darling.
