I got a message saying that I reached my daily limit for answering questions, I am at level five, why is this?
I was at level 4 this morning, I know I didn't answer 80 questions today. But during the course of the day I moved up to level 5. When I went to answer a question it is telling me that I have reached my limit for the answering questions.
Any ideas why this would be?
All is well again. Thanks so much for all the great answers and quick help.
I do appreciate it!

New enhancements are going live .. I think as we type. Check out the forum,
http://messages.next.yahoo.com/next/threadview?bn=...
-Spell Checking on the Answer page
-Additional Details on a question follow you to the 'answer' screen
-New scoring
--- 1 point for logging on (reportedly, once per day)
--- 5 points to ask a question, 3 points for resolving a question
-Option on the Edit Profile page to allow communication by email or messenger with other users.
-New Limits on activity, like the number of questions you can ask even at Level 5
According to the Yahoo! Answers team, "The inability of Level 5 (and only Level 5) members to answer questions is a newly-discovered bug. We're running it down now."
-The y_answers_team notice in the forum link above,
"Oh, yeah--there's lots of great stuff today. Amy will post a complete list on the blog when we're done, in the next couple of hours, but you've been finding some of the goodies on your own. There also is an unexpected bug: If you're on Level 5, you might have problems _answering_ (but not asking) questions. We're on it--please bear with us. We'll get back to you here later on, with more."

I checked the points guide and it still says that 5-8 are unlimited so I am not sure what is up. With the all the new changes there could just be some more bugs that need to be worked out The other changes are listed so you would think a new limit would be on there too.

As our fantastic users have reported here :-), it was a short-lived bug in the major update that we've been uploading this afternoon. Level 5 users--and only Level 5 users--were unable to answer questions. (That included the Answers Team, so we shared the fun.) We've fixed the problem.
There are a bunch of goodies in this release. Built-in instant messaging and e-mail, built-in spell-checking, the long-awaited "special thank-yous," and much more. We'll be giving the complete list on the blog, within the next couple of hours. Enjoy!

Yahoo! just performed an upgrade. For some reason, people with a level 5 no longer have unlimited answers. I haven't seen a change on the chart, so I suspect this is just a temporary glitch.

It looks like the Y!A team is making changes as we type. It may be a glitch - don't despair yet!
