Our hair is too dry,

Our hair fill of bleach,

How many permanents can we get each?

Rhonda said one.

'cause over the years,

Our poor hair is dammaged

And it is severe.

She said once this year

And no more than that.

Or we would go home

and look like our cat.

Our hair would break off

And leave us in tears.

But let the hair rest,

Every two to three years.

Myself

I have to live with myself, and so

I want to be fit for myself to know

I want to be able as days go by

Always to look myself straight in the eye;

I don't want to stand with the setting sun,

And hate myself for things I have done.

I don't want to keep on a closet shelf,

a lot of secrets about myself,

and fool myself as I come and go,

into thinking that nobody else will know

the kind of person I really am;

I don't want to dress myself up in sham.

I want ot go out with my head erect,

I want to deserve all man's respect;

and here in the struggle for fame and wealth,

I want to be able to like myself.

How many poems can we get????

So many will be written,

so what prize will we get???

For making one up??

My guess is a dozen poems maybe more,

Good health they can't compare.

Suddenly I heard a rapping, as if someone was gently tapping, tapping at my chamber door.

My life, I died for my destiny.

I found myself onto my shelf, oh life!

Life, it was bad to me, but I was my life.

Never meant to be my own pain, but life just tricked my emotions.

Oh God, couldn't he help me?

Or suffer should I?

Not my destiny, it can't be my destiny, because I already died by searching it.

I found it, too late, now I am dead, and my destiny says I should die.

Rose are red,

violets are blue.
