Do you know of a restaurant in the San Antonio area that serves halibut?
This is for our daughter's 18th birthday, so we would like someplace special. Halibut on the menu is mandatory. Thank you.
I used Yahoo! Local and citysearch, spent over two hours on the phone, and came up with Ocean Star Seafood and Grill. I would, however, appreciate more inputs and suggestions, so I am going to keep this question open until it expires.
Please, only San Antonio, TX, suggestions. I am willing to drive up to an hour away. I cannot afford to fly to Alaska.

The Eclipse Cafe at Huebner and Military serves a great Halibut dish. Here are the details from their menu online:
"pan seared halibut roasted fingerling potatoes, spinach and ginger scallion broth ($18)"
I ordered this dish a few months ago and really enjoyed it. It is a bit loud because of the open floor plan, smokey because of the wood fire ovens, and small but the food is good and they have halibut!

i would never eat halibut outside of Alaska that's like asking for bad fish...i just can't do it. i think i might go and get some from my freezer since i got so much.
