The cave man or "Paleolithic Diet" is based on the hunter-gatherer diet of our ancient ancestors,it excludes all new foods such as grains, legumes and starches. In exchange for fruits, vegetables and meats. It does not include dairy,as cave man had not yet domesticated the cow.But does include a wide variety of nuts, berries and seeds. It is said to be good for conditions such as obesity, and syndrome X.But its a difficult diet to balance, extremely strict as it does not allow cola, caffiene or proccessed foods,it can also be difficult to get the b-vitamins found in grains so nutritional supplementation is neccessary, this diet should not be followed without a doctors approval, and is not reccomended for every person or health condition.

yes. it's called the paleo diet. basic rule is, if a cave man couldn't have eaten it, then neither should you. meat, fish/seafood, veggies, some roots, limited fruit, no processed grains like wheat bread or cake or cookies or pancakes....they've got many books ont this topic. you should buy one. believe me, its a great diet, you feel really good.
