Why do you answer questions on Yahoo answers?

I don't ask many questions, but I try to give as many answers as possible. Do you answer to help, for points, to ridicule, to pass time or what? Thanx.

Also, do you think your answers make any difference to the questioner and why or why not?

    i like it because its intresting thoughts and questions and ideas. ones person i read intregued me the other made me laugh, other i think is a moron. its fun with no risk or cost, IM here for a while!

    i use to do it for the points, now i only do it for help. I answer question i know i can be helpful.
