Reinstalling Windows Messenger?
My daughter uninstalled Windows Messenger from her computer and since then Outlook doesn't work. Where/How can I reinstall Windows messenger and why is it needed for Outlook?

if messenger was part of windows original when you go to add/remove it will give option to reinstall or remove or fix. Try reinstall restart computer then fix and restart again. will reset back to original. windows cd will also work

Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components > Check Windows Messenger

jibber is correct and im guessing its part of the bundle if you take 1 component away it fouls up your whole package.
just a guess.and it should haved warned you before you deleted it if this is the case
