I had a dollar on my back window seal ( the dollar fell into a mud puddle and i put it there to dry it had a stain on it) my son in law rode in the back seat, i have been drivng him alot because he has no driver license and i have been taking him to look for jobs he has always rode in the front seat !!! this time he rode in the back i tought it was strange !!! As i pulled in my driveway i remember the dollar and checked my reaview mirror it was still there!!! i have a two door coupe i got out of the car slide the driver seat foward to let my son in law out and went to shut the door the dollar was gone, i checked the seats and the floor no dollar. My son in law was the only person in the back seat . what should i do?

Confront him or else set a trap. The sorry thing about a thief is that if they think you are lame-brained they will take ever increasing advantage of you. NIP IT IN THE BUD!!

Set a trap, if you confront him over a dollar your daughter will probably get pissed off and it will make for an ackward conversation which he will probably deny, take some money and write down the codes on them, leave it somewhere where you know he will be, once it dissapears (but before he has time to spend it) calmly ask him for change, when the codes match you know you got him, it will also teach your daughter what kind of person she's married too.

Hello it's a DOLLAR...Your daughters husband is having problems keeping the house HEATED for his family, and you want to confront him about a dollar! Really I think they are suffering enough embarrassment with living with you, and having you drive them around looking for jobs!!! I think your being very petty...right now what your daughters family needs is a loving mother-in-law, Grandmother and Mother...I am not saying it's right what he did...but it's a DOLLAR!!!

i think you should ask him about it , but did you check the floor of the car first make sure you look under the seats to confirm first and if its not there then yes you should ask about it the next time it may be more then a dollar

No, it's just a dollar. I think you will be fine without 100 cents. How exactly do you know he took it and not your daughter anyways?

first, it IS only a dollar, and what is he, like 10? he should have asked cause it is your car and all, but he probly just thought you forgot about it and didn't need it...
if it bugs you soo much that you have to say something =about it... just let him know you were planning on using it for something and just ask next time...

maybe just ask him about it. After all, it was only a dollar. But I wouldn't let him get away with it totally.
