    Part of the problem is that you think it's a stupid reason, your friend doesn't. Go apologize and get it over.

    Apologize, no matter how stupid you think the reason is, apparently its not that stupid because your best friend is mad at you for it. So like I said, you should talk things out and apologize. Before you know it, things will be fine again.
