What is the best free program to convert WMA files to MP3 for files with DRM?
I have an album (really a collection of songs) that I purchased on line. There is no physical CD for this artist, and so I wanted to make one. Unfortunately, all the songs are in WMA format, DRM protected. I would like to listen to this album in my car, and thus I need to make MP3. I am looking for a free or free trial program as I don't really want to spend more money on this if I don't have to.

try audacity.com it converts wma file in mp3 files

I too had this problem. I found out itunes will convert wma to mp3 or a few other formats. And if you wanted to copy from cd to mp3 you could use a program called Audiograbber.

There is a free program where you can get all music for free. You don't got to pay per month it called Morpheus. Go to morpheus.com and download it for free.
