we have black athletes, why no black swimmers?

OOOOH. I have asked similar questions, and the answers I get are, for instance, a large part of the inner city popultaion is Black.I think it's safe to say that inner city sports, I.E. school football and basketball will be played and often perfected, by black people. swimming is not often considered a sport for the inner city, nor is skiing or snowboarding.

For the record, I am one of three white people on my street, I live in the city, and I love all of my neighbors.(Except that kid that keeps trying to piss my dog off!)

Some races seem better suited to particular sports.

Most boxers, runners are black.

Most swimmers, weightlifters are white.

Don't ask me why.

Because black people hate the water.

that's a hasty generalization. there are several black swimmers!
