    go to My Q&A on top and click edit my info.. then change avatar

    You mean a Yahoo Avatar? Head over to http://avatars.yahoo.com/ and create one. Then edit your answers account settings to "use my Yahoo avatar".

    If you want a real "cartoon character", just add it to your 360 account (http://360.yahoo.com/) and choose "use my 360 picture" instead.
