Spark-o-matick is trying to pimp the points. HA HA HA, what a line of double talk. The man told the U.N. that he stood alone. Let his dumb-azz stand there alone. I don't know what part of the country your living in, but these children that are coming out of school don't have any future waiting on them. We have around 35% unemployment that you can't draw any unemployment benefits for. There are 2 and 3 families living together to be able to afford the heat bill, and the electric bill riding the bus. Jobs are only temp jobs with absolutely no future or benefits. We have illegals working for $2.00 an hour using up our hospitals and filling our schools, jails, and prisons. We have had people's houses burn down with people in them; because they had to heat their homes with a wood stove. That is just where I live in Indiana. It is just like it was here, when Ronald Regan was President. We have veterans coming back to nothing, and they are disabled. I served in the U.S. Navy for 15 years and I have been around the world at least 1000 times; if I didn't have a retirement, and a whole lot of cash set back, I wouldn't be able to hold out through this administration. I have seen this twice in my life time and I don't want to see it again, lets be done with all of this type of treatment, and become civilized Americans.
This kid below me must be refering to "RUSH LIMBAUGH and SEAN HENITY" Ha Ha Ha, Talk about over, and over, and over, and over, only stupid redneck hillbilly's buy into all that Neo-conservative crap.

Not everybody has the same opinions. We're all conditioned by the people we know from the time we are born. We're all influenced by the people around us. The people that support Bush have been influenced in their lives in ways that lead to their beliefs being similar to those of President Bush, or they believe in supporting the president no matter how much of an idiot he is.

By using a well put together argument, based on facts and logic. That's how I defend what I believe, but I really don't like bush.
- ?Lv 42 decades ago
I defend him simply because those who are attacking him have typically distorted or completely gotten their facts wrong. They listen to rhetoric spouted by those trying to advance their own political goals and don't bother to check the facts for themselves, blindly accepting anything no matter how far fetched.
Is he my ideal president? No far from it, My Ideal President was shot in Dallas in 1963, I disagree with Bush on numerous points. But to blindly condemn anybody especially the president of the United States even if you're just echoing the voices of others without confirming on your own if these allegations are true and accurate is shameful.

I want my brain washed. Where can I go to have my brain washed? There's a lot garbage and goo in there.
To answer your question in the short form:
People support Bush, because they have something gain with him in office.
He gave us a tax break--that was cool!
He supports the space program--I'm for that just look at my nickname.
He beats up on bullying oppressive loser tyrants that rule their countries by gasing those who oppose them--hmmmm...Let's kick Bush out and vote for Sadam Housein for President--NOT!!!

I voted for the man and I stand by him 100%. He may have his quirks but he still is better than his opponent in 04. Who had to lie to get 3 Purple Hearts.

You're not putting yourself in their shoes. They voted for Bush, and so they're not only defending him, but their decision to vote for him.

So, Spark is essentially saying that no one who opposes Bush is capable of independent thought.

Better questions - how can people just blindly repeat democrat propaganda over and over and over again, ad infinitum, ad nauseum? How is it that they are so incapable of thinking for themselves at a mental level higher than a bumper sticker slogan?

Beacause their either stupid, naive or were brainwashed by the government. Oh, or they're terrorists!
