Why are SO many drivers TOO lazy to use their signals?

We have a saying in Tennessee. "If you see a car with Tennessee plates and the turn signal is on rest assured it was on when he bought the car"

I totally agree with you as I commute to Encino so I feel your pain.

What I noticed is when I signal like you should people will speed up and not let you in. So I think people have stopped using them for that reason.

I put my signal on but I do it at the last minute and I sure don't feel comfortable or safe doing that. But if I don't in traffic I can never get over unless I force my way in and that Isn't safe either.

Turn signals drain the battery. They also accelerate wear on the turn signal bulbs.

Most importantly: unsignalled turning adds a degree of spontaneity, making the driving process lively and refreshing.

I don't know, because some people in this world might not think about such things as saving other people lives.

They are really to f'in lazy. They think that you should know what you're thinking. They think you should move over for them. As if they owned the road.

It annoys me so much. I try to cross on a round-about and i dont know weather a car is going to turn or not! Ive begun to get road-rage when i DONT DRIVE!!! lol

it's annoying really, but I think of them all they are visitors with a bad copilot aside. If they're not visitors then they are stupid, because you can get a ticket for not using'em. They think are cool and the only one on the road!

EXACTLY! omg like dont you wanna just keep a bag of rocks in your car just to throw at those idiots! lol

but seriously i see that stupidity entirely too much on the freeway...

it happens in the UK too, i tend to wait till they reach a red light, get their attention, they role down their window and i say " did you know your indicator light has broken"!! they look at you as if to say "but i haven't used it"? - 5 seconds later they get what you mean. try it!

Because they have no manners. If more people on the road used manners, there would be less accidents ( and definitely less road rage).

They think that they are pros at driving and that they are too good for correct car saftey
