Can anyone tell my where to download a free Microsoft Paint Program?

You can't download it, it comes with your operating system. There's probably no problem with it other than you not realizing what you're doing. You're probably extending the pictures' size beyond the allowed amount for those upload sites, or you're saving your pictures in a format those sites don't approve of.

GO to contol panel, select add/remove programms, then click on add/remove windows components and then tick the box with paint next to it

Try the Gimp. Far better than Paint. And free (opensource).

find a friend with the same version of xp you have and have them mail you the program. If you could delete it, they can find it and send it to you.

It works very well.

If you still have the Windows installation CD, use the CD to install windows component. choose - install accessories.

Go to search for files or folders and enter mspaint.exe (The one in Sys32)

If it finds it, right click on it and select, send to desktop, create shortcut.

you could have just deleted it on the start menu.... search for it.

it's not downloadable, however why not download a similar program
