Am I the only annoyed by answering a question that has 0 answers but finds there were several after posting?

I agree - there seems to be a delay in the posting, but I'm sure you're right- I always think I'm the "first" to answer someone's "difficult" question and then all of a sudden there are 10 answers. I just answered one and it still isn't showing up as answered.
