Cross Canadian Ragweed, Pat Green, Robert Earl Keen, and other red dirt country bands (even though Pat's gotten big now).

For mainstream i'd go with the king George Strait, Dierks Bentley, and Keith Urban.

And then for older country country i like waylon jennings, merle haggard, johnny cash, and the outlaw country style.

I live in the Country music capital, Nashville. Country is great and so are the singers they will talk with you all the time. They are everywhere.You would love it

My favourite country style music is anything to do with "Bluegrass". John Denvir and Lyn Anderson are probably my very favourite two of many..
