Why has the polls and surveys category suddenly disappeared, but LGBT have a seperate category?

Just wondering...And to those who don't know, LGBT is lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered.

Update:

LGBT is under society and cultures, then under cultures and groups...go ask your question Escartee! :)

"Polls and Surveys" was a very experimental category. We posted for a few days to get a sense of how people would use it. Frankly, we were surprised at how much use it got. We've pulled it back into the garage for some more tinkering, and you might see it again later this spring.

In the recent upgrade, we opened up a bunch of new categories that users had requested. The LGBT section was one of them.

I can't find the LGBT, where is it?

I think they took it away because it left it to open for their liking. As long as it's a poll you could ask questions like

"who is apalled by LBGT?" and what could they really say.

    Maybe like a liability issue.
