What should I do?

Ok girl!! U dont' need to go and ask anything from him. u c u need to be a secret for him, he is the guy and he needs to do the first step! He has his own imagination of him and if u'll do smth wrong he won't be interested in u, in one word he will be disappointed. So let him be sure in his feelings and let him fight for u. Then i am sure yall's feelings will last long long long:))) So believe me girl, I know what I say, and that was my opinion. Stay urself and listen ur heart!!!

Sounds like he's shy too. He doesn't know if you like him or not and doesn't want to risk you rejecting him in front of your friends. Give him a chance to be alone with you, the movie idea is good. Ask him to explain something about biology that you "don't quite understand" so he can show off how smart he is. Basically, set him up to succeed and lay the compliments on thick when he does.

Speak to him about homework, music, sports etc. This way you'll both start feeling more comfortable around each other and then the friendship can develop. Good luck!

if he's shy too,waiting would be a waste of time.ask for help or if you're sure and brave enough invite him to a movie "hey,jessica said she wouldn't come with me and i have an extra ticket.would you like to?" :) this is a very very white lie and most of the time it works!
