what is the difference between aerospace engineering and aeronautical engineering?

    In Aerospace, you can do modules on Spacecraft dynamics, Orbital Mechanics, Satellite design etc. Aeronautical is generally concerned with just Aircraft.

    they are both the same.

    aerospace (aeronautical) engineering deals with the engineering study of aircraft, spacecraft and others. sometimes, however, if you are talking about engineering in aircraft, you use "aeronautical engineering" while that of spacecraft is oftentimes referred to as "astronautical engineering."
