Can I convert my SBC/Yahoo email to Yahoo only?
I have to move and I will no longer have access to ATT/SBC. I have an SBC account linked to my Yahoo Profile. Can I keeo that profile and convert the email to xxxxx@yahoo.com from xxxx@sbcglobal.net?

What you would have to do is contact SBC and have them disable your master SBC account.. Once that is disabled you would have to login to that SBC master account with the id and password.. it would then say that you have existing yahoo accounts linked to the sbc account and would ask if you wish to unmerge.. click yes to unmerge.. that would separate your yahoo account from your sbc account..
If you have anything in the email account that you wish to keep i would suggest making a copy of it or storing it somewhere just in case something happens in the unmerge..The number for SBC is 1-877-722-3755.. Hope that helps!
