Just wondering what any women have done to induce their labor??

I did A LOT of walking, ate pineapple, and had sex a lot with my husband each night as I neared my due date.  I don't know if all this worked like it's supposed to, but I did deliver my son on his due date.  Good luck!

I am not kidding - SEX.  I was a week late and not at all dilated or anything.  I had an induction scheduled at the hospital.  My husband asked the doctor if sex would help.  She said it could - there is some chemical that is released in the sperm.  So we tried.  Next time I went to her, she cancelled the induction - she said there was amazing progress.  So we tried again (1-2 times) and I went into labor.  I was 12 days late - my next induction would have been in two days and the doctor would not have delayed this one.  Sex works - I swear by it!

There are herbs that are supposed to induce labor...

AND in beauty school they taught us not to massage pregnant women's feet cause that can stimulate the uterus (right in the upper side of the ankle)

Walking always helps; I gave birth to my son 6 weeks early (he was normal weight!). I was in the Army at the time, so I did plentyyy of walking. Also i've been told that stimulation of your breasts will prompt your body to produce the hormone which engages the start of labor. I've actually heard that multiple times:).. Good luck!

My sister in law swears by castor oil. (can we say yuck!)

I took the stairs everywhere.. I was on the 6th floor of my apartment building, and I was all but running the stairs.  Of course, being 3 weeks overdue will make a woman do most anything.

You can try stimulating the nipples, long walks, deep foot massages, or lots of intercourse. There are herbal ways to stimulate labor but you never know how they will effect your pregnancy.

have sex. apparently when you orgasm, you have contractions which can induce labour.
