Why some people can't drink carbonated drinks?
I can't drink anything carbonated (e.g. Coke). Whan I start drinking anything carbonated it hurts when I am swalowing it and then my stomach hurts a lot. It has been like that always. Anyone knows why is that?

Because your body cannot process the carbonation as fast as other peoples. Coke is extremely carbonated as well. I know this may sound really funny but maybe you are drinking them too fast. I would go with a pepsi or sprite instead. Or if you love the taste of soda give it about 20 minutes when you put ice in it and then drink it. Also carbonation does tend to give people gas or make them burp constipation or stomach pains is natural at times for certain people.

I've been the same way. I can drink it just fine and I love to burp (I know, that's sick) but I know I'm going to get a stomach ache soon after.
