Is the 'New Turkish Lira (TRY)' a convertible coin?
If you need some help: A convertible coin is a coin which you can change freely into other currencies. (Currency that can be quickly and easily bought and sold for other currencies.)
I can't find any information about this on the internet, so if you have some resources I could use, please share this with me. Thanks!

You can change/exchange New Turkish Lira coins to other currencies in Turkey without a problem. But out of Turkey it's impossible to change it. Because of its design, New Turkish Lira coins seem like the immitation of Euro coins (what stupid Turkish designers!).
You can not change Turkish liras out of Turkey easily. I use Euro and US Dollars when I go abroad.
